bron : http://www.wickedlocal.com/medfield/archive/x986383883|Philip ‘Snoopy’ Minnaert|NAPLES, FL: Philip “Snoopy” Minnaert, age 59, of Naples, FL, a former Medfield resident, died Sunday evening, July 29, 2007, in Naples.||Born in Medford on July 15, 1948, he was a son of the late Stanley F. and Anne M. (Laverty) Minnaert. He was raised in Medfield and was a 1967 graduate of Medfield High School. The next year he joined the Marine Corps with several hometown friends. He went on to serve in Vietnam, holding the rank of corporal.||Mr. Minnaert was a contract laborer in the Medfield area throughout his adult life. He had been a member of both the Medfield AMVETS and VFW. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing and had been a member of the Medfield Sportsman’s Club. He moved to Naples last year.||He is survived by his son, Jonathan M. Minnaert of Waltham, a sister, Susan J. Buzzell of Naples, FL, a brother, Kevin S. Minnaert and wife Joanne of Marshfield, a niece, Kerri Minnaert of Plymouth, and a nephew, Erik Minnaert of Hawaii. ||His service will be at the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street, Medfield, on Friday, Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Vine Lake Cemetery.
