  Obituary for Paul Rumachik
  Paul Rumachik, 77, of Pleasant Prairie, died Saturday (October 2nd, 2004) at his residence.
  Born July 13, 1927, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Rupenchuk) Rumachik Sr. He attended local schools, including Marquette University, Gateway Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. He had a private pilot’s license.
  A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he served in the Philippines.
  In 1954, he married Patricia Petersen.
  He was a design and resident engineer at American Motors in Kenosha and Milwaukee for 30 years. He owned and operated Coast to Coast Hardware in Kenosha for more than 20 years and most recently was a design engineer at Keifer Pools.
  He was member of First United Methodist Church in Kenosha, Society of Automotive Engineers, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Kenosha Airmen's Flying Club, and Southport Masonic Lodge, and was chaplain for the Pleasant Prairie Veterans of Foreign Wars Post since its inception.
  His hobbies included flying, fishing, traveling and farming.
  Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Nancy Schmidt of Kenosha and Amy Schultz of Menomonee Falls; a son, David of Kenosha; two sisters, Lily Miller of Kenosha and Ann Donahue of Pacific Grove, CA; three brothers, George of Elgin, IL, David of Oshkosh and Steven of Kenosha; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 27 nephews and nieces.
  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jessye Urbanski, Mary Jones and Jenny Rumachik, and a brother, Andy.
  Proko Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
  
  RUMACHIK: Funeral services for Mr. Paul Rumachik will be held on Thursday, October 7th, at First United Methodist Church, 919-60th St., at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday at First United Methodist Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials remembrances to First United Methodist Church or Hospice Alliance would be appreciated by the family. The Proko Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Rumachik family.
