She grew up and attended schools in Appleton, WI, after graduation she became a secretary. She met her loving husband on a blind date while he was in Officer Naval training school. She was the dedicated and cherished wife of Earl Remen for 63 years and the beloved mother of three daughters, Carol, Pam and Holly. She was admired by many friends and acquaintances for her hospitality, kindness and remarkable sense of humor. She spent 20 years in Worthington, Ohio raising her daughters and nurturing her family. There she also became a Master Gardener and floral arranger. She and her husband sailed many winning miles around Hoover Reservoir in their sailboat.
