Robert Allan "Bob" Timmer entered into heaven on the evening of September 17, 2016 following a heart attack and heroic but unsuccessful resuscitation efforts by Zeeland Rescue, AMR Ambulance and Zeeland Hospital ER Staff.
Born October 20, 1950 in Holland, Bob attended Holland Christian Schools, graduating from Holland Christian High School in 1969.
Known to his co-workers as "Bubba", Bob was employed in the chemical mixing department of Parke-Davis (later Pfizer) for 35 years, retiring with the facility's closure in 2005. He later worked part time at in the stock room at Target in Holland.
Bob was a member of Community Reformed Church and was an active participant of the Evergreen Commons Day Center.
Awaiting Bob at the pearly gates were his wife Janna Beth, father Willard and mother Delia, who passed away in 2002, 1998 and 2012, respectively.
Bob is survived by his daughters Rachel Baker and Amanda & David Prins, five grandchildren (Jonathan and Joshua Baker, Elizabeth, Zachary and Noah Prins), sisters Elaine and Harv Plaggemars, Mary and Al Teerman; brother Tom and Kathy Timmer; in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Hij is getrouwd met Janna Beth Visser.
