  Mrs. Kathryn “Kay” Bol, age 93, of Spring Lake passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Sanctuary at the Shore. She was born August 28, 1922 in Ferrysburg to John and Alice (Westerhouse) Plutschouw. On September 18, 1946 she married John E. Bol in Spring Lake and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2005.
  
  Kay was a member of Spring Lake Christian Reformed Church where she was an organist for over 28 years and also a member of the Lydia bible study. She was a great example of Christ's love and had a heart for others.
  
  She is survived by two children, Mary Jo (Roger) Welscott of Spring Lake and Ronald (Denise) Bol of Grand Haven; four grandchildren: Todd Welscott, Wendy (Steve) Sabatino, Doug (Anna) Welscott and Larry (Samantha) Bol; eight great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kaitlyn, Lillian, Samuel, Wyatt, Riley, Alex and Logan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sena Bol and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie Plutschouw and great-grandchildren: Emily and Emma.
  
  Funeral Services for Kay will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Spring Lake Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Spring Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Kay may be given to Grand Haven Christian School or Bethany Christian Services. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.vbkfuneralhome.com.
