Woman Arrested In DUI Crash That Killed Motorcyclist In OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman has been arrested following a crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Oklahoma City.
According to police, the motorcyclist, 24-year-old James Helsloot, was sent to the hospital in emergency situation after being hit by another car at N. Tulsa Avenue and N.W. 16th Street on Sunday.

Police confirmed with News 9 on Monday that Helsloot has passed away. The woman accused of hitting him, 51-year-old Olethis Cudjo, is now in jail.
Cudjo now faces several complaints, including second-degree murder, DUI, and driving with a suspended license.
An accident at the intersection of Northwest 16th Street and Tulsa Avenue killed an unidentified motorcyclist according to the Oklahoma City Police Department. Olethia Cudjo, 51, was arrested on charged of second-degree murder and driving under the influence after hitting the man at noon Sunday.
