Died of heart attack when son was 2 yrs old 1930 Census, Streator, IL Obituary; Sept 1 1943 LOCAL YOUNG MAN STRICKEN Kenneth Soulsby, 31 married and the father of two small children, died shortly before noon today at his home, east of the city. He had been ill only a short time.He is survived by his wife, formerly Marie Oster of Streator and two children, Betty and John Robert Soulsby. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this afternoon and with a detailed obituary will be published in tomorrow evening's issue of the Times-Press Sept 7, 1943 FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR KENNETH SOULSBY Funeral services for Kenneth Soulsby ere held from the home ofhis parents, Mr and Mrs Thomas Soulsby at 1312 N. Wasson street at two o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Richard Purnell of the PM church officiating. Miss Eva Elias, Mrs. Carl Samuelson and William J. Elias sang. Miss Julia Elvin accompanying at her piano. Pallbearers were Sam Connell Jr., Steve Sedlock, Harry Hefler, Peter Prommenschenkel, Leslie Munts, Donald Gochanour, Ethel Hall, Joan and Ardith Gochanour, Maxine Plimmer, Catherine Gall and Jean Koledjay were in charge of the flowers. Interment occurred in Riverview cemetery. Those who attended the services from a ditance were Mrs. Fred Robertson of Wenona, Roy Cupples and daughters Marilyn and Sharon of Wilmington; Mr and Mrs Joseph Nechvotal, Miss Sylvia Kasak and William and Charles Kasak of Chicago CARD OF THANKS We desire to thank our neighbors and friends for their kindness in our recent bereavement, for the use of cars, flowers, and other expressions of sympathy.
