OBITUARY in "The Guardian" Charlottetown: "ROSS, John Charles "Jack" Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his wife and family of Mr. John Charles "Jack" Ross of Charlottetown in his 71st year, son of the late John and Ruby (Young) Ross. Survived by his beloved wife Mabel; daughters Heather and Bonnie Ross; son, Scott Ross; stepsons, Scott (Nora) Gregory and Brian (Patti) Gregory; stepdaughter, Lori Ann (Peter) Church; grandchildren, Katelyne Ross, Josh, Gillian, Blake, Colin, Kristin Gregory; very special "Poppy" to Chanelle and Cooper Church; mother-in-law, Mabel Sherren; sisters-in-law, Ada (Stuart) Drummond, Donna (Avard) Clow, Ann (Doug) Reid, Gail (Doug) Weatherbie, Wendy Sherren (Michael Wilson); brother-in-law, Bill Sherren; special friend, Barry Flynn and many special nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home until Thursday morning then transferred to the Kirk of St. James Church where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in the family plot in Hunter River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Endoscopy Suite or the Kirk of St. James Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
