The book, Humphrey's Family in America, by Dr. Frederick Humphrey, was published in 1883. It contains a wealth of data
about the family of Michael Humphrey of Lyme Regis, Dorset, England. He immigrated circa 1642 to Simsbury Connecticut,
where he settled, and prospered as an active & responsible citizen.
This book has very well-authenticated data based on birth, baptism, marriage, burial and probate records from New England,
and it's the source of the data on our Humphrey family in America from 1643 till 1883. From 1883 to the present we have records
from Correll Myron Humphrey's family.
*** See the notes for Correll Myron Humphrey for the genealogy in Lyme Regis, Dorset, & Honiton, Devon, England. ***
