Her grandfather was the mayor of Sacramento in in 1880 when "Mame's" mother was born, and as a young man served as Leland Stanford's Page in the senate. Mame had in her possession her grandparent's unused tickets to see Enrico Caruso perform at the S.F. Lucille's father Arthur Frank and his brothers backed youngest brother Lawrence L. Frank in starting Van De Kamp's Dutch Bakeries in Los Angeles and in 1938 opened Lawry's The Prime Rib on La Cienega Blvd. Later adding Lawry's Seasoned salt and salad dressings which was later sold to Lipton, a division of Unilever Corp. Today Lawry's still thrives along with Lawry's restaurants in Chicago, Dallas, and six other locations around the world. Lucille was beautiful, talented, and loved and admired by all. She was married to her beloved husband Lionel M. Clumeck of Singapore for 43 years and since his passing in 1977 didn't want anyone in her life except her family and fabulous friends. "Mame" was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, accomplished artist, talented business woman, trusted confidant and loving and caring friend.
