Adolphe Dennery, wrote a French novel called The Two Orphans and whichwas very popular in France in the middle of the 19th century. Adolphe was a great friend of the literary lights of that particular time, of the Dumas, father and son, and especially of Jules Verne, with whom he collaborated and helped to write a dramatic version of Around the World in Eighty Days and several other plays. In a book called Doctor Ox's Experiments it gives the bibliography of Jules Verne's work in which Adolf Dennery is included.
