Kind(eren):
My paternal ggrandmother was Pauline Krolik Behnsch (b1838)and her parents were Joseph Krolik (b1801) and Taube Gutman Krolik. Their parents were Abraham Krolik (b1754) and Pesse Krolik (maiden name unknown) (b1760). It was Pauline's son, Henry Krolik who came to the US from Kepno, Wlkp., Poland in the 1850"s and settled in Detroit and started A. Krolik and Co. with his cousin, Adolph. Henry's son, Julian, was the one who sponsored my father and his brother to escape from Nazi Germany in 1938 and gave my father his job at Krolik and Co. Altogether, he saved over 12 Behnsch family from the concentration camps although over 35 were not so lucky and were murdered, including my father's sister and her 2 children and my paternal grandmother, aunts and uncles. I recently corresponded with Day Krolik III, who is a retired attorney, living in New York and his Krolik Family is from the Adolph side,
