Joseph Zellerbach--guests bidden to the engagement reception of Miss Doris Joseph, daughter of M;M Siegmund Joseph, of E. 93rd st, and Mrr Harold Zellerbach, son of M;M I. Zellerbach, were pleasantly surprised when they found that they came to attend a wedding. At 6:30, before an alter of palms and white lilies, Rabbi Moses J. Griess performed the ceremony.
The bridal party entered to the strains of the Lohengrin wedding march. The bride wore an empire gown of white satin trimmed with pearls. Her veil was of tulle worn with a band of pearls and edged with pearls. Her bouquet was of orchids and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Walter A. Goldsmith, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Alfred L. Saroni, sister of the groom, were matrons of honor. The former wore jade green tulle and silver cloth and carried white Iris, and the latter wore peach colored tulle and satin and carried Ophelia roses. R. D. Zellerbach was best man and Mrr Ralph Joseph usher.
Mrs. Joseph, the bride's mother, wore black net and silver, and Mrs. Zellerbach, the groom's mother, wore black lace and blue satin.
Only members of the family attended the dinner. Several hundred guests attended the reception held in the evening.
In the fall M;M Zellerbach will make their home in San Francisco.

Doris J. Zellerbach, Prominent San Franciscan. Private services were set for Wed for Doris J. Zellerbach, widowed of the chief officer of Crown Zellerbach Corp, in San Francisco, Harold L. Zellerbach.
She died Sunday at 91 in her San Francisco home. Born in Cleveland, O she was the wife of the paper company executive from 1917 until his death in 1978. She was a kindergarten Teacher in Cleveland before her marriage there to the young executive from San Francisco. She was a volunteer in programs for the young and in her years in San Francisco, and had been president of the Junior Red Cross.
She was among prominent San Franciscans who were ushers at the founding sessions of the United Nations at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco in 1946.
Mrs Zellerbach leaves sons William J and Stephen A. Zellerbach of San Francisco and a daughter Rolinde Z. Loew of Beverly Hills. There are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services were held at Sinai Memorial Chapel. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Golden Gate Chapter of the American Red Cross or the Zellerbach chair in the humanities at the University of Pennsylvania.
