Aron Jacobs' youngest daughter Alma Jacobs Hymson who was a professional mystery writer in SF & owned a motel near Van Ness on Chestnut wrote a letter to my Mother in her 70s which said the original family name of Samuel & Pauline Sol Salomon Cohn from Poznan, Wlkp., Poland 's married sib who changed to Jacobs, was Mahalski .
