Brother George and wife Jennie Stringer had a son Thomas. He is the subject of your photo & was the subject of Judge Johnston repartee at

CW: George B Sizemore was killed at the outbreak of the Civil War in Webster Cty, West Va. by CSA partisans.
His son Thomas Wilburn was killed, too, that day.
1864 George B. Sizemore's brother in law Daniel Perdue Sr. was killed, too, in local Civil War tensions.
NOTES
Within the extensive Ledger of Rev. Goode, he writes;
George B. Sizemore married Ollie Laxton and settled on Rockcastle Creek near Jacksons Store. At a meeting of the Rockcastle Baptist Church on March 12, 1859 at the home of James Cooke on Laurel Fork, it was recorded that the
"Next meeting to be at the house recently occupied by George B. Sizemore".
Children: 1) Wilburn Laxton married Clarenda Cook of John Logan Cook. He and Daniel Perdew Sr. were shot from ambush and killed in Webster County during the Civil War.
Thats the present day location of the Keyrock turn off from Rt 10 . It was once called "Sizemore Gap" . Its now known as "Jackson Hill" .
.
Unable to find any trace of George B and Mary and their children, Levi, Owen, and Elizabeth after 1860.
Have also read that a group of Sizemores, women and children, were killed during the Civil War.

Clarinda is Clarinda Ruth Cook, daughter of John Logan Cook & Sarah G. Ellison. Catherine is Clarinda's sister. This part of the family remained in Wyoming County and has been very easy to trace.
CLARINDA RUTH5 COOKE (JOHN LOGAN4, WILLIAM3, JOHN2, JOHN1) was born February 28, 1839 in Logan (Wyoming) County, (West) Virginia. She married
(1) THOMAS WILBURN SIZEMORE June 17, 1856 in Wyoming County, (West)Virginia, son of GEORGE SIZEMORE and MARY LAXTON. He was born Abt. 1832 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, and died Abt. 1864 in Webster County, West
Virginia. She married (2) DANIEL SAMUEL PERDEW August 26, 1865 in Wyoming County, West Virginia, son of NATHANIEL PERDEW and SARAH SIZEMORE. He was born Abt. 1845 in Logan (Wyoming) County, West Virginia.
George and his other children, however, seem to have vanished after the 1860 Census.
I've seen claims that George & Thomas died in the Civil War, however haven't found anything to verify that.
Thomas' wife, Clarinda did remarry in 1865.
