Before entering the teaching profession, he spent three years in bank work in San Francisco.alty was bookkeeping, he was qualified in the whole commercial field and taught classes in typing, stenography, commercial law and consumer education. In addition to his classroom activities, he had charge of the National Youth Adminjnistration program, was publicity director of the school for two years, served as business manager for student plays and assisted with student body finances. For two years he was the high school representative to the Modesto Teachers Association.nce which now is an annual evernt participated in by many high schools of the valley.n accounting.
