The following is from the Whitesell Researachers web site, published by Bruce C. Johnson Jr.ESELL was born 18 August 1723 and died probably at Oxford Township, Sussex County (part that is now Warren County),New Jersey, 18 March 1813, "aged 89 years 6 months & 28 days."(g.s.) He is buried at the Swayze Cemetery south of Hope, NewJersey.[1] He married first, possibly at New Jersey or New York,circa 1750, MARGARETHA GREEN, who was "Born Nov. 27, 1732 At Long Island, Late Green" and died probably at Sussex County,New Jersey, 2 January 1778 (g.s.).[2] She is buried next to her husband at the Swayze Cemetery. Andrew, in his will signed at Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey, 1 December 1808, names his wife at that time as HANNAH. She is indicated as "his Wid.Deces." when "An Inventory of the goods and Chattles of Andrew Whitesell Deces," was taken, 21 July 1819.ns: 1773 New Jersey Rateables; Andrew Whitesel of Oxford Twp., Sussex Co. He had 200 acres of land and 15 cows.te dated September 12, 1780, for $200. Continental: $11.64/90ths, specie: interest commenced Aug. 15th1779: interest to Jan. 1 1787, $5.14/90ths Same deposited in State Treasury during Revolutionary War. This was apparently a loan of money to the State of New Jersey for the war effort.f the estate of Israel Swayze of Oxford, Sussex County, New Jersey.
