Beginning at a Stake in the road called the Middle trace, and corners to the Dower?s lott belonging to the widow of Roberts Allen, deceased, thence with the said Dower line, South one hundred poles until it Strikes Chancellor?s line, thence west, with said Chancellor?s line, then and one half poles to the beginning, Containing Seven and one fourth acres, be the Same more or less together with all and Singular the premises thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances hereby to the said William Allen, his heirs and assigns, forever, and the said Sarah Worley, for herself and her heirs doth warrant and defend against the Claim or Claims of every person or persons, whatsoever, Claiming by or under her, But it is Clearly understood by the parties that if the said land or any part thereof, should be lost by a prior Claim, then, an in that case, the said Sarah Worley will not be bound to refund back the purchase money its, interest, or any part thereof.---y [Seal]t this deed of Conveyance from Sarah Worley to William Allen, was on the 8th day of October, produced in my office and proven by the Oath of Benjamin Allen, a subscribing Witness, thereto to be her act and and [sic] deed for the purposes therein mentioned and afterwards, to wit, on this day, the said Deed was further proven by the oath of I.
