"Benedictus episcopus atque comes" founded the monastery of Locmaria de Quimper, later confirmed by "Alanus comes filius Benedicti supradicti" (witnessed by "'85femina ipsius comitis Iudeth'85"), by charter dated to [1022/38] which also records a later donation by "Alanus comes et uxor illius Iudeth'85et fili'e6 su'e6 Hodiern'e6 abbatiss'e6", witnessed by "Hoel'85filius eiusdem comitis'85Moruan vicecomes'85" [397]. Comte de Cornoua'eflle. A charter dated 1029 records the property of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 with the consent of "Alano comite'85et conjugem eius Judith, Orscando episcopo fratre comitis'85Guethenoc et Guerec fratribus comitis'85" [398]. "Alano comite Chanarth'85Cornubiam regente" founded the abbey of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 by charter dated 1029 [399]. The Chronicon Kemperlegiense records the death in 1058 of "Alanus Comes Cornugalli'e6, Kemperlegiensis monasterii fundator et pater" [401]. A fragmentary chronicle in the cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 records that "consul Alanus cognomento Cainard" died 30 years after building the abbey of Sainte-Croix at Quimperl'e9 and was buried "in ecclesia Beate Virginis Marie que adjacent ecclesie Sancti Courentini" [402]. m ([1026]) JUDITH de Nantes, daughter of JUDICA'cbL Comte de Nantes & his wife M'e9lisende (-1063, bur Sainte-Gu'e9nol'e9 de Landevenec). The Chronicon Briocensi names "Judith'85filia Juhelli quondam comitis Nannetensis" as wife of "Alani Cagnart" and mother of "Hoellus Dux" [403]. An undated charter dated to [1031/55] records a donation to Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 by "Alano principe'85uxor eiusdem consulis, religiosa domina et mater nostra Judith comitissa, filia'85Judicaelis Nannetensium comitis", in the presence of "domini sui" [407]. The Chronicon Kemperlegiense records the death in 1063 of "Iudith Comitissa Cornugalli'e6" [408]. The Chronicon Universum in the cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 records the death in 1063 of "Judith comitissa Cornugallie" [409]. A fragmentary chronicle in the cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 records that "comitissa Judith" lived for six years as a nun after her husband died and was buried "in ecclesia Sancti Guingualoei" [410]. "Comes Eudo, uxor eius Orguen et filii eorum Gausfridus, Alanus, Willelmus, Rotbertus, Ricardus'85" witnessed the charter dated to [1056/60] records the history of the acquisition by Angers Saint-Aubin of property "in pago Belvacensi", finally donated by "comiti Britannie Eudoni" [412]. m EUDES [I] Comte de Penthi'e8vre, son of GEOFFROY I Duke of Brittany & his wife Havise de Normandie (-1062). 3. BUDIC (-1091). "Alani comitis comitisseque Constantie" donated property to the abbey of Redon by charter dated 1089, witnessed by "Mathias comes Namnetis'85Eudo vicecomes, Radulfus anglicus comes, Radulfus de Fulgeres'85Budicus frater Hoelli comitis" [413]. "Budic frater Hoeli comitis" donated property to Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9, in the presence of "fratris mei Benedicti abbatis'85Benedicto Corisopitensi episcopo", by undated charter, witnessed by "Benedictus episcopus, Guigonus decanus frater episcopi'85" [414]. The Chronicon Kemperlegiensis records the death in 1091 of "Budic, frater Ho'eblis Comitis" [415]. The Chronicon Universum in the cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 records the death in 1091 of "Budic frater Hoeli comitis" [416]. 4. QUIRIAC (-[1076/78]). Tresvaux records that he was elected as Bishop of Nantes in 1052 but does not cite the primary source on which this is based [417]. 5. BENEDICT (-2 Jan [1115]). "Budic frater Hoeli comitis" donated property to Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9, in the presence of "fratris mei Benedicti abbatis'85Benedicto Corisopitensi episcopo", by undated charter, witnessed by "Benedictus episcopus, Guigonus decanus frater episcopi'85" [418]. Bishop of Quimper. Tresvaux records that he was elected as Bishop of Quimper in 1064, in succession to his paternal uncle, but does not cite the primary source on which this is based [419]. Bishop of Nantes. The Chronicon Britannico Alter records that "Benedicti Episcopi'85Alani Cornugalli'e6 Comitis filii" was ordained in 1081 [420]. The Chronicon Kemperlegiensis records that "Benedictus, Alani Cornugalli'e6 Consulis filius" was dismissed from "Nannetic'e6 Ecclesi'e6 sedem et Abbati'e6 Kemperlegiensis regimen" in 1113 [421]. The Chronicon Kemperlegiensis records the death in 1115 of "Benedictus Episcopus Nannetensis et Abbas Sanct'e6 Crucis" [422]. The Chronicon Universum in the cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperl'e9 records that "Benedictus Alani Cornugallie consulis filius" resigned "Nannetice ecclesie sedem et abbatie Kemperelegiensis regimen" in 1114 and died in 1115 [423]. 6. daughter . The Historia sancti Florentii Salmurensis records that "Normannus, Montis Rebelli dominus Minoris" invaded Anjou and after peace was agreed that he married "sororem Hoelli Nannetensium comitis viduam" [424], the event being recorded in the text under the rule of abbot Sigo [425]. It is not known to which sister of Comte Ho'ebl this refers.
