Fishkill is an upscale village within the much larger town, Town of Fishkill, one of the fastest growing towns in the region, in Dutchess County, New York, USA. Fishkill is a suburb of New York City. The village population was 2,171 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. The Village of Fishkill is in the northeast part of the town on US 9. It is north of Interstate 84. NY 52 is the main street.
