The date 1 Feb 1862 from the Weener church records conflicts with the Wymeer church records date of 21 Apr 1862.
Marriage banns were read at the Weener church. The Wymeer church recorded the wedding.

Cornelius and Jantja Kuper Family
Cornelius H. Kuper was born at Holthusen, Heide, Germany, Feb. 22, 1837. His wife, Jantja, was born at Wymeer, Sept. 10, 1840. This couple was married in their native land in 1862, and five children were born.
In the spring of 1882, Harm, Dick, John, Christian, and Folkert, with their parents, left Germany, immigrating to the United States. They settled in Grundy County, Iowa where they remained one year.
Then for five years they lived in Harding County, before coming to the Lennox area in 1888. Here they farmed for many years.
Cornelius passed away Nov. 8, 1912, on the farm. Jantja moved to Lennox and lived there until her death in 1926.
Death cert. has dob = 8 Oct 1837; fath=Harm Kuper moth-maiden=Maggie Berens dod = 8 Oct 1912; cause of death: Thoracic aneurism.
The date of birth on the d.c. seems to be an error because the dd/mm of birth & death are the same. The d.c. was signed by the physician on 9 Oct 1912 & filed by the Clerk of Courts 12 Oct 1912.

Note: Doris Bent Bousfield gives born at Holthusen rather than Holthuserheide. After coming to America-settled in Grundy Co.IA.for 1 yr. Lived in Harding Co. for 5 years before coming to Lennox territory in 1888. Here they farmed for many years. He passed away on their farm at 75 years of age.

Wassersucht = dropsy. L/O means the information came from the local news & obituary.
Note: The Wymeer OSB below assigns Cornelius to be the son of Harm Harms Kuiper & Grietje Berends. This seems to agree with Cornelius H. Kuper's death certificate. It is my hypothesis that Grietje Berends & Grietje Berends Klaassen is one & the same lady.
