Text of Glen Hattendorf obituary, provenance unknown, possibly a newspaper in Britt, IA
"Glen Hattendorf, 30, son of Alfred Hattendorf, of the Hattendorf Construction Company, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, died at a Rochester Minn., hospital Sunday night.
Funeral services will be held at Ocheyedan, Thursday afternoon. None of the Hattendorf Construction crews, numbering some ten or twelve, will work that day, allowing workers to attend the last rites. Members of the building committee of Britt's First Lutheran church, and also the pastor, the Rev. Paul Adix, will attend the funeral from here.
The Hattendorf Construction crew has been working of Britt's new First Lutheran church. Deceased drew all the plans for the Britt church and staked out the ground for the building before excavation work was begun.
Surviving are the wife, a small son, parents and other relatives."
