Thanks for your reply. I agree with you that Rebecca is the daughter of Jacob Flatter. This is some of the information that I have. Hopefully it will be helpful.

I will assume that you have the information on Isaiah Blizzard & Cathatine Flatter. Catherine is the daughter of George Flatter d. Jul 1814; bur in MD. George's wife is Anna Marie ______ b. 1761 PA; d. 1802-1814

George and Anna had a son Jacob Ludwig Flatter b. 21 Oct 1778; d. 9 Aug 1862. He is bur. Cedar Grove Cem. Darke Co. OH. Jacob m. ca. 1816 Abigail Buckingham 1791-1831; bur unknown. Jacob m(2) Maranda ____ 1815-1859; she is bur with Jacob.Jacob and Abigail had 4 known children. They are Perry, Mary Ann, Diana and Rebecca. Rebecca m. George Blizzard and had 2 children, Barbara and Lucinda. I have nothing on Barbara, but a lot on Lucinda if you want it. I also have a lot of information on Rebecca's 3 siblings if you want it.

Do you have a copy of Leola Murphy's book? I was a major contributor on Ludwick Flatter's line.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did find my correspondence to you in 2007. You have a better memory than me. This is what I have found: Jacob Ludwig Flatter came to Darke Co. OH about 1830 with his wife Abigail Buckingham. They had married about 1816. As near as I can tell she is the sister of Mashe Buckingham (1785-1855) who married Sarah Roberts,the sister of BarbaryRoberts, the wife of Ludwick. Mashe came to Darke Co. about 1821. He was a farmer and he established a cemetery on his farm and that is where Abigail is buried. The cemetery is gone, but someone sent me a picture of Abigail's tombstone.I will try to e-mail it to you when I find it. Just in case I cannot e-mail it could I have your mailing address. I have spent the last year going through 14 boxes of research that I inherited from Delight Flater when she died. Herhusband brought them to me on his way from NJ to IN.

I have also been in touch with a man who lives just east of Darke Co. He is a Buckingham and the g.g.grandson of Charles Filmore Buckingham who came to Darke Co. from Carroll Co. MD in the early 1870's
