I WILLIAM HARRISON of South Carolina, Craven County & Wateree River, recognizing the abundant mercy and goodness of God tho weak in body, yet of a sound and perfect understanding and memory, do Constitute this my Last will and Testament and Desire it may be received by all, as such, first I most humbly Bequeath my soul to God beseeching his most gracious acceptance of it the the all sufficient merits and mediation of my most compassionate Redeemer Jesus Christ, who gave himself to be an atonement for my Sins, and is able to save to the utermost all that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make Intercession for them, and who trust will not reject me, A Returning Penitent Sinner when I come to him for Mercy in this hope and confidence I render up my Soul with comfort humbly beseeching the most blessed and Glorious trinity, one God most holy, most Merciful and Gracious to Prepare me for the time of my Dissolution, and then to take me to himself Into that peace and Rest, and incomparable felicity, which he has prepared for all that love and fear his holy name Amen, blessed be God;

I give my body to the Earth from, whence it was taken in full assurance of its Resurrection from thence at the last day, as for my burial I desire it may be decent without Pomp or State at the discretion of my dear wife and my Executors hereafter named, who I doubt not will manage it with all Requisite prudence as to my Worldly Estate, I will and Possitively order that all my debts be paid first,

I first I to my dear and loveing wife for the term of her widowhood, this house wherein I now dwell in and Plantation and two Negroes named Titas and Phelis, and all my horse and cows and hoggs and sheep to divided among my Children as she sees proper and to my Eldest dauter MARY the plantation whereon now she dwells and one Negro named Harry and to her heirs lawfully begotten of her body for ever,

and to my Eldest Son JAMES one tract of Land Containing 200 acres Joyning lines with his sister MARY and two Negroes named Prince and Bett to him and his care lawfully begotten of his body for Ever,

And to my daughter SARAH 100 acres of Land Joyning JOHN DUKES, and two Negroes named Jogg and Venus and to her heirs lawfully begotten of her body for ever

and to my sons REUBBEN and WILLIAM one tract of land containing 300 acres acres Gold the mount tract to be equally divided and to WILLEBA two Negroes one named Frank and a Negro girl named Phillis and to his heirs lawfully begotten of his body for ever, and REUBBEN two Negroes named Hannah and Jubster to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body forever,

and to my daughter PATIENCE two Negroes named Jud and Luce and the tract of land whereon now my Wife dwells, at the day of her marriage or the day of her death and to her heirs lawfully begotten of her body forever thears one Negro named Joe, and household goods and still and Smith Tools and Carpenters Tools and all other utensils there is to be equally divided among all and, as for them Negroes, Titas and Philis that I leave to my wife is to be equally divided among my children and continue

my wife ANN HARRISON Executrix and my son JAMES HARRISON and JOHN ARMSTRONG Executors of this my last will and Testament and Trustees for my children in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the 25th day of July in the Year of our Lord - 1769.WILLIAM HARRISON (L.S.)
