Email from David 12/22/18: Hi Barb,
My second cousin phoned tonight and after talking about other things told me that Andrew and Annie were buried in Alexandria cemetery possibly without a stone in plot 252.The only clues I have to assist with Andrews death are that he supposedly died at Dunbarton not long after 1918 and both he and Annie are buried in Alexandria cemetery .
Yes the Census 1901 as recorded on Ancestry is all wrong making Annie 10yrs.Looking at the Scotlands People Census she is 20yrs and working as a shop assistant.I am quite sure we have the correct Annie. She would be alone being widowed she would have to exit the farm as most likely tenanted by Andrew and her son by now 37 would be doctoring elsewhere
If I remember, you can access "Find a grave" site.Today I remembered that there is a third name on Andrew and Mary Ann's gravestone in Cardross I think.Perhaps we could get a picture of the stone?.Also Annie is allegedly buried in Alexandria where there may also be a stone for her.
Might be a stone somewhere for A.R.R. TOO!.He might have gone back to his father's farm at Cardross as I think his brother Richard went back to West Calder when my Grandfather John died to help on the farm
