LifeSketch: Commentsitchann1 1838 Antioch (Creek) Cemetery, 2003 survey conducted: During Nov., 2003 physical survey at the Lewis S. Mitchell family plot near the burial plot of his dau., Sarah Eliz. Mitchell, the only wife of John M. Landrum, this small, grave marker was found upright holding down the northern most wing of a string of Mitchell family broken grave markers. In fact, Clarence Mitchell's completely intact, tiny marker was initially overlooked in my physical survey because, I had no chalk in my pocket to outline the stone face. Clarence's mother and father, Margaret Grant and W.R. Mitchell are buried at Riverview Cem., S. Grand St. at Lidell Ave., near the main entrance and cemetery shed and/or building, there. Two additional children, Hattie and Della dau.s of W.R. and Maggie Grant Mitchell were found buried adjacent to Clarence, with remains of a tiny, broken and nearly indistinguishable lamb!!
