Notities over Margaret Peggy TYLER

[gkbivens.ged] According to family legend, Peggy Tyler was from Holland. Her mother died and her father remarried. Peggy came to America on a ship that sailed from London. She supposedly married Nathaniel Bivens when she was quite young. I have no documentation on this story. Louise Roberts of Monroe Union Co, N.C. has the shawl that Margaret "Peggy" Tyler wore on ship on her trip to America. I've found a couple of records of Margaret Tyler(s) in England at the right time. Shropshire:Alberbury Parish Registers, Hereford Diocese, Baptisms and Burials, 1794--1812, Alberburg Parish Registers Volume 4. 25 Apr 1726 Margaret, d. of Tho. & Ann Tyler bap. Shropshire: Leighton, Atcham Parish Regs, Lichfield Diocese, Marriages 1755--1808 Volume 3 29 Aug 1741 Margaret, d. of Charles & Anne Tyler bap. These are tantalizing clues; maybe one of these is our Margaret, but I haven't found any other separate records of her. They married in 1759, witnessed by Lorenzo Brown.
