  Regarding Säao Miguel de Passos, termo de Santa Marinha, bispado de Coimbra, what it means is that it was the "parish of Saint Miguel de Paços in the "county" of Santa Marinha z(1839). However, in the second half of the 19th century, the administrative organization of the country changed so the "county" of Santa Marinha was extiguished and Säao Miguel de Paços became part of the "county" of Gouveia (1852). So, in a nutshell, I am absolutely sure that Säao Miguel de Passos, termo de SantaMarinha, Bispado de Coimbra is indeed the same as Paços da Serra, county of Gouveia.
  Constata-se, pois, que a villa de S.Miguel de Paços (Paços da Serra, se diz hoje), é uma povoaçäao antiquíssima tendo sido habitada já noutras culturas (romanos, visigodos e árabes, além de cristäaos).

However, from the reading of his own application file for the Inquisition, it seems Luis Lopes dos Santos was the owner of a storewith textile decorations [armaçäoes] for churches.
  It was possible to find the modus operandi of Luis Lopes dos Santos and thus the scope and impact of his work by analysing his INVENTORY which was made by his widow Caetana Maria da Assunçäao after his death in 1794.
  
  He was capable of being charged with business of importance and secrecy, he lived decently of the good fortune he had made with his store and it is known that he had eight to nine thousand cruzados [an old gold coin of Portugal having a cross on the reverse].
