She died from a cerebral hemorrhage according to her grandson, Phillip Michael Noorlander. She used to wrap the Christmas presents she sent to him in the funny papers she had saved as she knew he loved to read. Her & her husband lived on a farm and raised strawberries and chickens which they sold the eggs and berries in a roadside stand. They always gave the people 13 eggs as a dozen in case one broke and they were put in a paper sack. She also made jam from the berries and sold that. She was a tiny woman not quite 5 ft. tall and weighed less than 100 lbs. She went to the temple very often and showed Mike the names she had done as she kept them in a box. She had long hair which she wound around a thing and wore it on top of her head. He has very fond memories of her and the farm.
