Albert Peachey (b. 1891) was the son of James Peachey (1854-1939) and
Susanna Fincham (1857-1946) of Pratt Co., Kansas. His parents were both
born at Mildenhall, Suffolk Co., England. James emigrated to America in
1876 and while in Tazewell Co, Illinois, he married his Englishsweetheart. Susanna Fincham in 1883. They settled at McPherson, Kansaswhere they farmed with her brother Cornelius Fincham. Albert marriedClara Dell Fulkerson (b. 1892), the daughter of John Fulkerson (b. 1876)and Lulu Reed of Bates Co., Missouri. Her father was also born in BatesCo. Her mother was the daughter of John Alexander Reed and ClarissaClark of Chapin, Illinois. Several generations of ancestors anddescendants are given. Includes Clark, Reed, Fulkerson, Fincham,Brubaker, Ipson and other related families.

My name is Kristin (Peachey) Robinson and I found your name on the KansasSurname List and I was most interested as to what Peachey branch you comefrom. My Peachey's were English. My "James Peachey" was born in 1833 inWest Sussex and came to the US in 1853. He married a Susannah had a sonBenjamin Franklin 1868 in Olathe, Kansas and a son James Jr. 1870 in MO.Susannah died before the 1880 Census. James Sr. is found later with hisson Frank. James Jr. is never heard from again. I have always been on thelookout for any sign of James jr. My dad is the ggrandson of Benjamin"Frank" Peachey. He died in 1943 in Greeley, Kansas. Are you researchingPeachey's in Kansas or just Peachey's and you live in Kansas? Are youfrom an English Peachey or the Amish Peachey's?

I was born in Phoenix, and moved with my parents to CA when I was 7. Alot of my relatives still live in Phoenix and Tucson, both on my father'sside and mother's. My grandfather, Carl Peachey came from Kansas andlived in Phoenix until my grandmother died a few years ago. He moved toCA to be closer and recently passed away. Thus I am very interested inpursuing this, as well as the Fincham line. I have quite a fewphotographs of James Peachey and his wife that I have scanned into mycomputer that I can send as well. I come from some Kansas Pachey's that settled south of a town named Prattin the south central part of Kansas. The farm was homesteded by mygrandparents. They had seven children; Elizibeth, Julia, Clara, Walt,Ted, John, and my father, Carl. My dad moved to Ohio and then to Arizonawhere the family lived. I moved to Northern California in the sixities.My father Carl, was the last of his family and passed away last February.Sincerely, Jim Peachey

Tied into the Peachey line in Kansas. My father has gone to Suffolk Cntyon more than one occassion a few years back when he was alive and camehome with many stories about the Suffolk Peachey and Fincham "cousins."

My name is David Peachey--from Morgan Hill, California. I don'tknow if I have emailed you before, but I have been receiving info fromthe ((XXXXX@XXXX.XXX)) list for quite some time as has my Dad, JamesPeachey of Cupertino, California. I have collected a lot of theinformation you have placed on the list and found some overlap with thegenealogy that I have been gathering on my line. My great-grandfather isJames Peachey (spouse Susanna Fincham). I just wanted to introducemyself.

I am 37, married for 14 years with three children (Kendra LeAnne-11,Brighton Libby-8, and Chadd Simeon-5). I was born in Phoenix, Arizona,but have lived in California for most of my life. A lot of my familystill lives in Arizona, so we spend frequent vacations there. I havebeen very interested in taking a trip to Kansas to visit some of the moredistant relatives. I work in the computer industry, as does my Dad.

As soon as I get better organized, I will send you some more on thisline. I have it going back quite a bit further. Would you prefer theinformation in an email, or in an GEDCOM file. In looking informationthat you have put on the list, I found that you have a birth date forJames Peachey as being "Abt 1833". In my records, I have him as havingbeen born on 10 Dec 1855 in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England and having diedon 30 Dec 1939 in Pratt, Pratt, Kansas.

I look forward to sharing more information with you. I also have alot of information on other of James and Susanna's children besides mygrandfather (Carl A.
