Sheryl Shahan Witbeck
HUNTER -- Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:30 p.m. for Sheryl Shahan Witbeck, seven-year-old daughter of Reuben Merrill and Helen Jean Hudson Witbeck, who died Monday.
Death, in a Salt Lake hospital, followed a lingering illness.
Bishop Vern Breese will officiate at the services in the Hunter Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6000 West 3500 South St.
Friends may call at 255 Second East St., Salt Lake City, Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. J. M. Witbeck, 3594 South 5458 West St. Thursday from 10 a.m. to time of services. Burial will be in Elysian Burial Gardens.
Sheryl was born in Salt Lake City on April 16, 1944. Two years ago she moved with her parents to Hunter and had been attending school here.
Survivors include her parents of 3654 South 5450 West St.; one sister, Wendy Witbeck, and four grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. L. D. Hudson, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. and Mrs. J. M. Witbeck, Hunter.
