Scott v. Scott.
In this action for divorce, at the instance of Ann Gairdner or Scott, residing in Cupar- Fife, against her husband, George Moncrieff Scott, residing in Liverpool (previously reported on the question of Jurisdiction), a proof has been led before Sheriff-Commissary Cay showing that for nearly seven years past the defender has been living in adultery with a woman named Hannah McCrady, in Liverpool, which proof, being reported to Lord Ordinary Neaves, on the 16th inst., and considered by him, he has found the defender, the said George Moncrief Scott, guilty of adultery; divorced him from the society, fellowship, and company of the pursuer, the said Ann Gardiner or Scott, in all time coming, and declared her entitled to live single or marry any free man as if she had never been married to the defender, or as if he were naturally dead.
