St Philip's Episcopal Church is one of the earliest churches in present-day Lee County, South Carolina, and is located on the old stagecoach road from Charleston to Camden. It is built on a three and one-fourth-acre tract that Henry Britton deeded to Peter W. Fraser, John A. Colclough, Alexander I. Tate, and James Gaillard for a church.
