Provincial Deed Book T-4, pages 518-519, shows Power of Attorney from Christopher Singleton , of the County of King William, Virginia, to his son Robert Singleton, giving him the power of attorney and right to sell 300 acres of land in the High Hills of Santee, which had been granted to him in 1758, adjoining lands of Matthew Singleton, the power of attorney being dated the 6th of June 1777. The Christopher Singleton tract was conveyed Isham Moore. Found in "Sumter District" by Janie Revill, C 1968, published by The State Publishing Company.
