114. XII. ICHABOD,5 (273) b. Dec. 23,1749, d. March 21, 1832.

He was married in 1769,  Abigail Logia, who d. April 4, 1798. He married secondly,

Feb. 20,1799, Mrs. Penelope Ring, of Worthington, (relict of Joseph,)

who d. Dec, 1836, in Lancaster, Ohio. He settled in Rutland, Vt.,

about 1770, and lived where the Court house now stands. In the

commencement of the Revolutionary War, he was driven from his

home, and afterward settled in Clarendon, Vt. In 1831, he rein, to

Potsdam. N. Y., where he soon after died, he was a farmer, m.

Baptist church and "a good man:" He had 14 children, and all b. in Ohio, except

the 1st two.

who was b. Feb. 26, 1776, and d. in C, Oct., 1811. Both m. Bap.

church. In 1812, he married 2d, Mrs. Rebecca (Trask) Brink, of O, who d.

in Lenox, N. Y., Aug. 6, 1851, ae. 79 yrs. He was a carpenter and

rem. from Ohio to Lenox, N. Y., Oct., 1814. There were only 3 families

in the town, at the time. He had 12 children. 

275. III. HANNAH,6 b. May 9, 1774, d. Feb. 26, 1860, in 86th 

yr. She m. Jan. 14, 1796, Asa Moon, in Clarendon, Vt., who was b.

 Nov. 17, 1772, and d. Oct. 15, 1842. He was a farmer in Hopkinton,

 N. Y., also a pious and devout man. For over 40 yrs. he endeavored

 to walk with God, and for many yrs. was Deacon of the Bap. ch.

 She was m. Bap. ch. Chil.—

Y., in 1814, where he cleared a farm from the forest, and from thence to Kane Co., UL, in Sept., 1835, and in 1854 to Geneva, UL, where they reside. For the 1st 18 yrs. after his marriage, he was a farmer and kept a publichouse. He is Justice of the Peace, and both are m. Meth. ch.
