Jessie Harrell, born about 1770 North Carolina, d. 1845 Stewart County, Ga. Drew 1805 Ga. Land lottery, Washington County, Ga.; 1825 tax digest Washington County, Ga, 1832 Ga. Land lottery. According to "Memoirs of Georgia" he migrated to Ga (see biography of grandson Judge David Brinson Harrell at his notes).

About 1800 with his son Solomon. Listed 1840 Stewart County, census.Married Rachel Kittrell 11/11/1790 in Bertie County North Carolina. Jessie was a son of Joshua Harrell (last will and testament dated 6/26/1810, proved 8/1810 Bertie County, North Carolina) naming Jessie, Josiah(married Mary Irvins 1/21/1783 in Bertie County, nc), and Elisha of Gates County North Carolina. Children of Jessie Harrell are Solomon Harrell, born 1796 Bertie County, North Carolina d. 1858 m. Nancy Turner. Solomon d. 1845, had 5 children:two of them Judge DB Harrell, Solomon Harrell of Webster County Ga. , John Harrell, had daughter Elizabeth Rachelb. 1823 m. William Morgan 1844., Henry Harrell m.
