The graves of Thomas Wideman and wife, Mary Ann McFall Wideman was located in Dallas county, Texas, in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery. Along with them were 3 sons and 1 daughter. The following info was learned.
Thomas A. Wideman
b. 9-22-1830, d. 4-12-1911
Mary A. Wideman
B. 8-12-1824, D. 1-21-1903
wife of T.A. Wideman
From copies of the McFall family Bible, original and transcribed, her birth year differs from the grave marker. The birth is listed as 1823. Take your pick.
Nestled between these grave markers was a small homemade concrete marker with the initials J.T. on it. This would be their son, Joseph, born in Texas probably after 1860, the year they came to Texas.
Also beside them was daughter:
Cora E. Savage
b. 2-28-1854, d. 1-19-1926
wife of L. W. Savage
Sons whose graves were there in addtion to J.T.: This info is from me. I failed to write down what was on the markers!
Thomas Jefferson Wideman b. 3-24-1856, Anderson, SC, and wife Annie Idella/Della Lindsey b. 8-16-1868
Samuel Houston Wideman, b. 1-24-1858, Anderson, SC
