Mrs. Ocola Robbins Kittrell, 91, of 1793 Snake Swamp Road, Cope, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Aiken Unicare in Aiken.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Woodward officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Pallbearers will be Mark Thompson, Nick Thompson, Ike Kittrell, Joey Kittrell, Len Chitty, Jay Kittrell, Chris Tubs and Larry Rider. Members of the Senior Class of Canaan Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Kittrell was born April 11, 1919, in Coventon, Ala., a daughter of the late William and Univay Sasser Robbins. She was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church and was retired from Ambler Industries. She was the widow of Jervey J. Kittrell Sr.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Joyce Thompson of Heartford, Ala., June Carter of Ehrhardt and Janice (Robert) Chitty of Cope; two sons, Mike (Sandra) Kittrell of Cope and Jervey (Brenda) Kittrell Jr. of Orangeburg; one brother, Jessie Robbins of Enterprise, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 23 nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law, Solomon Kittrell and Lindberg Kittrell, both of Cope; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Carrigg of Cope and Bernice Kittrell of Cordova.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 9, at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg.
