Kimberly Anne was the daughter of Richard Allen and Paula Lynne (Vogel) Roos. She was raised at Orange City where she graduated from the Maurice-Orange City High School. She also graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
On July 9, 1994, she married Robert John Mouw in Orange City. They made their home north of Orange City. For eight years, she worked with infants and toddles for Area Education Agency IV.
Kim was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City where she was involved with the Little Lambs and the Kingdom Kids. She enjoyed coaching and playing volleyball and softball, scrapbooking, camping, and shopping.
Survivors include her husband, Rob; two sons, Ben and Zach, and a daughter, Abbie, all at home; parents, Rick and Paula Roos, of Orange City; grandparents, Lena Roos and Arthur and Shirley Vogel, all of Orange City; a brother and his wife, Greg and Julie Roos, of Orange City; a sister and her husband, Leah and Nick Herda, of Alton; a nephew, Josh Roos; Rob's parents, Robert and Shirley Mouw, of Alton; Rob's grandparents, Marie Mouw, of Sioux Center; and Harvey and Carol Vander Pol, of Orange City; and Rob's sister and her husband, Gina and Mike Schuetz, of Hospers; and their three sons, Nathaniel, Taylor, and Nick.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Allen Roos and Bernard A. Mouw.

ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Kimberly A. Mouw, 33, of Orange City passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Orange City Area Health System Hospital. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Reformed Church in Orange City, with the Revs. Jon Opgenorth and Jon Nelson officiating. Burial will be prior to the service Wednesday in West Lawn Cemetery. There will be a family prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.oolman.com.
