Before an altar banked with the choicest of June flowers, Miss Mary Flym, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Flym of Lansing became the bride of Peter C Schoon at the Lansing Reformed Church Thursday evening, June 14th at 7:30. The bride was given away by her father, Henry Flym. She was perfectly gowned in bridal white satin trimmed with Spanish Lace. Her veil of tulle fell from a bandeau of orange blossoms and her bouquet was a shower of white roses, sweet peas and valley lillies. The bridesmaid, Miss Katie Shcoon, a sister of the groom, was very attractively dress in white also, in a fashionable crepe de chine gown with cordian pleated drapes at each side and carried an arm bouquet of brides roses, tied with tulle ribbons. Among the flowers and bowers clustered around the altar the ceremony was performed by Rev Smitter of Lansing. The bride was met at the altar by the groom and his best man, James Molenaar of Hammond. Following the ceremony a buffet supper was served to one hundred guests and relatives. Later in the evening Mr and Mrs Peter Schoon left for a short honeymoon and will be at home to their many friends in a few days on Lyon St. in Hammond. Mr Schoon, who has a host of friends in Hammon, as he has been connected with the Reo Auto Sales for some time as a very competent and energetic worker, with Mrs Schoon, are the recipients of their many friends for an abundance of happiness and increasing good fortune.
