John Fitz-Lucas was a son of Edmund Fitz-Lucas by his first wife (unknown name). He was living in 1460. Neither Gage or the "Visitations" gave the name of his wife. His lands in West Stow and elsewhere are mentioned in the Inquistio taken at the death of his son, the Solicitor General. He seems to have died while the Civil War was raging. He was a soldier and a distinguished Knight and possibly killed in battle. With him the residential connections of the Lucas' with West Stow seems to have come to an end.
