Their issue were Richard, John and Eleanor. Thomas had land in York Ridge in 1653, and Thomas, with William Willis, in 1665 had 250 acres of land in Gloucester Co on Grave Neck Creek. He was in Lancaster Co in 1657, and on 1 Oct 1667 Thomas had wife, Mary. Someone sent me this information nearly 20 years ago. [2004]
Based on the writers below, I think we are still in the dark about how the Willis-es all connect at this point. ; Any chance on the history from here back being the actual ancestry of more recent Willis-es must be considered tentative at this time. - DLP

(1) Sir Thomas Willis [this is the man who people claim is the Virginia immigrant], bp. 6 Sep. 1612, was aged 72 in 1684, when he gave information for the Visitation of Cambridge, and died 17 Nov. 1701, aged 87. He married Anne Wild, daughter and coheiress of Sir John Wilde by Anne Honeywood. He was created a Baronet 15 Dec. 1641, but his male issue eventually became extinct. His eldest son, Thomas, aged 2 in 1634, died without issue. (Sir Thomas had six sons and seven daughters.)

Refers to the same family as he writes:
Thomas and Edward arrived in the New World in 1635, According to Early Headrights Virinia Imigrants 1623 - 1666, he claimed headrights for Mary Willis to obtain land.
A Thomas Willis was listed as member of the Vestery of the Middlesex Church in 1663. (According to: Virginia genealogies : a genealogy of the Glassell family of Scotland and Virginia, E.B. Yordy, printer, 1891, c1885, 794 pgs)
There is a reference in a book, which I did not get copied before I lost my connection to Heritage - the book is called "The Willis Family" - on page 12 "William Willis, brother of the last two, Francis and Henry, lived on the south side of Craney creek in Virginian, and owned an estate there. He had a son William Willis who matriculated at Oxford in 1651, became a fellow of Trinity College, Oxford, and took his Bachleor's and Master's Degrees there. He died in 1663, and his will he mentions his eldest brother Thomas, 1637, who was a doctor of medicine, and his second brother John, whether this Oxford William is the same as the father of son above cannot now be determined."
