Benjamin Moore was a carpenter, joiner ,farmer, jewelry business,
sold dry goods, livery stable operator, ran a line of hacks to and
from Toledo, kept a hotel , and dealt in real estate; he also built a
saw mill in Slate Run in the west end of the farm afterwards owned by
G. H. Woodruff. Both belonged to the Baptist Church for 40 years.
Anna Came to Bellevue in 1835 and Benjamin in 1836. According to
county history books he came on foot , a distance on 400 miles, in
the middle of iwner hrough snow 18 inches deep. which took him
only 11 days, In 1885 they moved to another farm adjacent to
Bellevue. Anna visited Weikert , Pa in 1880 according to a letter from
Jonas Barnet to Joseph Weker. She lived with Frank Smith in
Bellevue, Sandsuky co in 1900.

wheat $650 , undivided 1/2 of 36 acres of growing corn $200; no money of
any kind . Estate was worth $38,000; 240 acres of farm land, house in
Bellevue & several additions to house in Bellevue. Debtors listed as
