Mrs. Hazel Eyet, 83, Diamond Hollow, RD 1, Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Leader Nursing Center East, Kingston, where she had been a patient since March, 1976.
Born in Beaumont, June 22, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Ellen Newberry Race. She retired in 1962 from the Falls Dress Factory. She was a member of the Diamond Hollow United Methodist Church and the WSCS.
Surviving are her husband, Stanley; three sons, Oscar S., Edgewood, Md.; Glenn W., Pittston; and Russell L., Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene E. Downs, Harveys Lake;' a brother, Russell Race, Dallas; 14 grandchildren ; 22 great grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Wednesday from the Harold E. Howell Funeral Home, West Pittston, with the Rev. Carlos Munoz, pastor of Diamond Hollow United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Fitch Cemetery, Lockville.
