Clara Cunningham, 88, died Saturday in Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born March 12, 1904 in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie Bishop Patton. She moved to NJ when she was 21. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Ganny, who died 39 years ago. In 1954, she married Earl B Cunningham, who died in 1977. She was a graduate of Noxen School and Bloomsburg State College. She taught school at Ricketts Glen. She was employed as a bookkeeper and licensed optician in NJ, retiring in 1986. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clark, Thomas, Roger, Percy, Russell and Clarence; sister, Mrs
Rose Tonkin. Surviving are daughters, Corrine Boland, Ocean City, NJ; Charlee Trantino, Beaumont; son Benjamin Ganny, Roseland, NJ; 18 grandchildren, 29 gr-grandchildren; sister Mrs MIldred Hopkins, Courtdale; Mrs Loretta Ayres, Tunkhannock; Mrs James (Pauline) Kelly, Dallas; Mrs Dave (Beulah) MacMillan, Noxen; Mrs Ed (Eunice) Marshall, Stephensville; Mrs Jean Siglan, Factoryville.
