Margaret L. "Tinker" MacMillan, 67, of Noxen, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Kessler Florek. Mrs. MacMillan was employed by the Noxen Food Mart before retiring. Preceding her in death was her husbands, Clark Patton, 1976, and Percy MacMillan, 2009; son James; brother, Carl Chase; and step-father, Robert Gardzalla. Surviving are children, Lori Patton and Carl Allar, Williamstown, N.J.; David Patton and his wife, Jodi, Noxen; Mike Patton and his wife, Tammy, Dalton; Percy MacMillan and his wife, Kimberly, Harveys Lake; Lynn MacMillan, at home, and his companion, Missy Kocher, Noxen; Lou MacMillan and his companion, Chasity Mackert, Noxen; Edward MacMillan and his wife, Denise, Harveys Lake; Sheldon Arnold; and Chris Zacharias and her husband, George, Harveys Lake; 17
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jacoby and her husband, Nathan (Buck), Harveys Lake; Leota (Toot) Patton, Noxen; and Mary Ann Gobel and her husband, Charles, Centermoreland; brothers, Richard and William, Cleveland, Ohio, and Michael, Tampa, Fla.; sister-in-law; Loretta Chase, Williamstown, N.J.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Margaret was a loving
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived for all her children, her house, and, prior to his passing, her husband, Percy. She was known for her ham gravy. When she wasn't taking care of her children she could be found at the casino relaxing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Nulton Funeral Home Inc., SR 309, Beaumont, Pa., with the Rev. Linda Bryan, of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 712 Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
