According to the Abridged Compendum of American Genealogy, Vol. 2, pg. 56:
Captain John Guest of New Brunswick, NJ, had a daughter Maria, married to Barent Janssen. Maria died 1769.

According to NY Genealogical & Biographical Record, Vol. 72, part 4, pg. 276:
Maria was born in 1743. She married Barent Janssen (Johnson) who was born in 1727 (1727-1777). Barent Janssen was a soldier of the American Revolutionary War.
Maria died shortly after giving birth to a son, John Barent Johnson (1769-1803). John was a minister of the Dutch Reformed Church of Albany, New York.
Maria and Barent’s grandson was Samuel Roosevelt Barent D.D. (doctor of divinity) (1802-1873) A.B. Columbia University in 1820 and was a professor of divinity at General Theological Seminary for 20 years.
