He was pastor of the church at Hyde Park from 1812 to 1815. He was a professor in the high school at Utica, New York from 1815 to 1833, while at the same time served at several neighboring churches.4
• He studied under Livingston I.CI. in New York City in 1793; was pastor of the Reformed Dutch Churches in Poughkeepsie and Stoutenburgh, 1794-1808, supplied Hyde Park 1808-1812; High School Professor at Utica, New York, and S.S. at Frankford, 1815-1833, supplied frequently Arcadia, Gorham and Tyre, 1833-1845.
