MONTANYE, 60, DIES; RESIDENT OF SCHOHARIE
Claude Montanye, 60, of Schoharie died yesterday at Community Hospital in Cobleskill after a long illness.
Born in the Town of Charleston, Mr. Montanye was a carpenter. He resided in Sloansville for several years prior to moving to Schoharie.
Survivors are two brothers, Earl Montanye of Charleston Four Corners and Theron Montanye of Canajoharie; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Baxter of Palatine Bridge, Mrs. Leo Wixon of Atlanta, NY, and Mrs. Henry Burke of Binghamton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Clark funeral home, Central Bridge. Rev. Frederick W. Moock, Jr., pastor of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Viewing hours will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
Burial will be in the Charleston Four Corners cemetery.
