"On December 27, 1920, while most hears were glad with Christmas joys, we were stricken with grief at the departure of our beloved mother.
Mrs. Sarah Ann Fuller Epperson was born March 3, 1853, in Dahlonega, Ga. She was married July 18k 1872.
Most of her life was spent in Charleston, Tenn., where she professed religion at about the age of thirty-two, and joined the Cumberland Presbyerian Church, of which she was a devoted member until God saw fit to call her home.
She is survived by her husband (Joseph) and eight children, besides a host of relatives and friends.
Two children preceded her to the great beyond, one in infancy and the other, (Oscar) who was a most zealous church worker and Sunday school superintendent, in the prime of life.
For a number of years she had been a sufferer, but always bore her suffering with patience.
A mnore devoted mother could not be found. her life was a continual sacrifice and prayer that her children might be all they should. She prayed that she might bear part of the suffering that would naturally fall to the lot of her children. through her joys, pain, and sorrow she always greeted her children with a smiling face.
Oh! we miss her more than we can say, but fully realize that she has gone to the place which Christ has prepared for those who love him.
Though we cannot see her again on earth, we can follow the way she has gone and meet her in the home not made with hands, whose maker and builder is God. --A Devoted Daughter.
